Santa Ana Meámbar is a small village in the municipality of Meámbar, located in the department of Comayagua, Honduras. It is surrounded by mountains, rivers, and beautiful nature, near the Santa Bárbara Mountain National Park. It is a rural area where most people work the land, growing basic crops such as corn and beans.
Over time, this community has faced many challenges. There are few job opportunities and limited access to healthcare and education. Because it is in a remote and hard-to-reach area, help and resources rarely arrive, so many families live in poverty and struggle to meet their basic needs.
